Intense Pulsed Light Therapy
A variety of skin conditions caused by sun exposure, aging, trauma, and life-style can be corrected safely and effectively by using Intense Pulsed Light (IPLTM).

Photorejuvenation using IPL is a non-surgical treatment that treats skin damage with minimum to no down-time and no risk.

Who and What can be treated?
IPL therapy is safe for men and women, and for all skin types.

It corrects a variety of benign skin conditions such as birthmarks, age spots, freckles and wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging, Melasma, hyper-pigmentation, dark circles under the eyes, Poikiloderma, large pores, and Rosacea (redness, ruddy complexion, facial blood vessels).

IPL also treats spider veins, leg veins and hair.

The face, nose, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs are the most common areas treated.

Typical Treatment
A series of light pulses are administered in a typical 20 minute session. It feels like a slight sting from the snapping of a small rubber band. Topical anesthetic may be used for comfort.

4-6 sessions at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks are required. 60% to 80% improvement in texture, appearance, and tone can be achieved. Results from each treatment are cumulative.
